This music, born in a three day session of inspired improvisation. It is medicine for our journey, an offering to the Pachas, the universes. It features improvised musical dialogues involving an Andean musical shaman in conversation with a soulful American composer/pianist, sensitively accompanied by a world-class Global Fusion Percussionist. The music is alive and shamanic, simultaneously ancient and new, and profoundly moving to the heart and spirit.

In the culture of the Andes, It is said that everything has its complement... father sky with mother earth, the sun is with the moon, what is above is with what is below, what is inside with what is outside.

Munay in the language of the earth, is the Power of Love. This power is infinite, it reaches throught all space and endures for all time. It envelopes all universes and makes them one.

Munay is the weaver of harmonies in this music, It's sounds in the flute, it dances the drums with the piano Creating the music of the opposites so not only are they each other's complement, but that together they become love.
